Work: 2022-2024

My recent work explores the profound aspects of life's journey, including obstacles, adversities, and the transitions between phases that ultimately lead to transformation, emergence, and renewal. Through embracing the natural cycle of life, we uncover a unique beauty in repairing the fractured pieces and the rebirth of something new. Wheelchair track marks and swirls serve as powerful symbols reflecting the individual paths we each navigate throughout our existence. Just as the layers of our life experiences shape our identity, multiple coats of paint unveil the depth and history within each piece. The varied consistencies of poured paint foster organic interactions and reveal captivating imperfections. Water emerges as a prominent motif, embodying fluidity, liberation, and the art of release. The swirls guide the viewer on a journey, replicating the cyclical nature of existence. These patterns reflect my own life experience that "everything comes full circle," reinforcing the idea that after a healing process, one's journey may return to its aspired state and origin once again.
