My work reflects life’s journey through challenge, transition, and renewal, uncovering beauty in repair and rebirth. Wheelchair tracks and swirling forms symbolize the personal paths we navigate, while layered paint reveals the depth shaped by experience.  Organic movement, fluid textures, and water motifs express release and transformation, while cyclical patterns reflect my belief that everything comes full circle—returning us, changed, to our origin.

The sculptural painting series explores rebuilding through rupture, inspired by the Japanese art term, "kintsugi", where broken pieces are transformed rather than concealed. Through layering and reassembling torn/cut pieces of canvas, the work reflects a personal process of reshaping my life’s fragments into a renewed form—embracing imperfection, memory, and change as a path to reinvention.
